Ingredients:
60 ml Patrón Reposado tequila
60 ml Cranberry juice (sweetened)
30 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
15 ml Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Collins glass.
  2. Prepare mint sprigs for garnish.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  5. Serve with a straw.
  6. Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

Review:

Margarita-style and lengthened with cranberry juice, this is surprisingly tasty. The recipe above is pleasingly simple, but you may find the following better fits your glass: 50ml tequila, 50ml cranberry juice, 25 lime juice, and 12.5 sugar syrup.

Created by Victor Bergeron and featured in his 1972 Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide.

NAUTILUS
Juice of 1 lime
1½ ounces Ocean Spray Cranberry House mixer
1½ ounces Tequila
Shake with ice cubes. Pour into Trader Vic nautilus shell. Decorate with mint sprigs.
