Fresh Monkey is exciting for mixologists as it presents a new spirit with new flavours on which to base cocktails. Fresh Monkey emerged from a whisky base but although it's distilled from grain has fruity notes associated with rum. Hence, Fresh Monkey presents the opportunity to make usually whisky-based cocktails, such as a 'Fresh' Manhattan, to rum-based cocktails, such as Daiquiris.

Fresh Daiquiri

Scotch new make spirit replaces light rum in this Daiquiri riff which also benefits from a combination of lime and lemon juices.

Fresh Mojito

Half fill glass with crushed ice. Add first 4 ingredients and CHURN with a barspoon. Fill glass with crushed ice and churn some more. TOP with soda.

Fresh Colada

BLEND all ingredients with scoop of crushed ice and pour into chilled glass.

Créme Fresh

Will appeal to Negroni drinkers. A full-flavoured, bittersweet aperitivo/digestivo.

Funky Apples

As the creator of this cocktail says, the base spirit shines with a bangin' mix of high-ester argicole rhum with the clean maltiness of an Irish poitín.
